Did not play. Opens Trinity League next week.

3. VISTA MURRIETA (MURRIETA) 5-0
Defeated Palisades (Pacific Palisades) 42-6.

4. NARBONNE (HARBOR CITY) 5-0
Defeated No. 11 Mater Dei (Santa Ana) 18-17. Troy Williams threw 38-yard TD pass to Johnell Jackson in fourth quarter with team trailing 17-12 at the time.

5. BAKERSFIELD 5-0
Did not play. Faces solid Liberty of Bakersfield next week.

6. MISSION VIEJO 6-0
Defeated Redlands East Valley (Redlands) 52-21. Avenges loss from last season in big way.

7. TESORO (RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA) 5-0
Did not play. Opens South Coast League next week against Trabuco Hills.

8. ELK GROVE 5-0
Did not play. Meets Laguna Creek (Elk Grove) in first league game next week.

9. ST. BONAVENTURE (VENTURA) 5-1
Defeated Westlake (Westlake Village) 31-23. Seraphs probably now won’t lose for the rest of the regular season.

10. CENTENNIAL (CORONA) 4-1
Defeated Etiwanda 68-15.

11. MATER DEI (SANTA ANA) 4-1
Lost to No. 4 Narbonne (Harbor City) 18-17. Justin Allen’s 7-yard run in third quarter gave Monarchs a 17-12 lead. A fourth-down pass from Narbonne 34-yard line in last minute fell incomplete.

12. ALEMANY (MISSION HILLS) 5-1
Defeated Norco 27-13.

13. UPLAND 5-0
Did not play.

14. ST. JOHN BOSCO (BELLFLOWER) 5-0*
Defeated Jordan (Sandy, Utah) 34-33 on Saturday in Utah. Jordan was the No. 1-ranked Class 5A team in the state entering the game and was 5-0. Braves won it on 28-yard, fourth-down touchdown pass by sophomore Josh Rosen to Nick Lehman with 45 seconds left. *Indicates losses by forfeit not included.

15. SERRA (GARDENA) 4-1
Did not play.

16. NOTRE DAME (SHERMAN OAKS) 4-2
Lost to Chaminade (West Hills) 35-27. With this loss, combined with success of Alemany, Crespi and others in Serra League, Knights may be hard-pressed to make the CIFSS playoffs once again.

17. JAMES LOGAN (UNION CITY) 5-1
Lost to Del Oro (Loomis) 20-13. Just when we thought the Colts might end up being a threat to DLS in the NCS, they lose to Golden Eagle team that has played tough schedule but also was winless and reportedly not going to be at full strength.

18. FRANKLIN (ELK GROVE) 5-0
Did not play. Meets Grant (Sacramento) in league opener next week.

19. CHAPARRAL (TEMECULA) 4-1
Defeated Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs) 46-0.

20. CENTRAL (FRESNO) 5-0
Did not play.

21. LOMPOC 5-0
Did not play. Braves will take state’s longest current win streak at 25 games against Templeton next weekend. They were No. 2 entering Friday, but Richmond Salesian had 26-game streak snapped.

22. OCEANSIDE 4-1
Defeated Mission Hills (San Marcos) 26-17. Mission Hills’ first loss was 35-21 to No. 6 Mission Viejo. Solid win for Pirates.

23. EL TORO (LAKE FOREST) 6-0
Defeated Garden Grove 49-6. Things will now get a lot tougher for the high-flying Chargers in the South Coast League.

24. BELLARMINE (SAN JOSE) 3-1
Defeated Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco) 28-10 in WCAL opener.

25. OAK RIDGE (EL DORADO HILLS) 5-0
Did not play. Trojans meet 5-0 Folsom (also had a bye this week) next Friday at home. Cal-Hi Sports will attend.
