Record-setting Folsom QB Jake Browning (12), a sophomore, is flanked by teammates Bailey Laolagi (also a sophomore) and junior receiver Troy Knox. Folsom topped Oak Ridge on Friday in matchup of 5-0 teams.

Kern County shaken up as Liberty rises to stun No. 5 Bakersfield. Get a sneak peak at how this upset changes CIF state bowl game scenarios.

Here is a look at scores through Saturday, Oct. 6. There were just two results needed from Saturday (Marin Catholic beat Novato 49-7 and Sacramento Burbank beat Sacramento Florin 67-12). Go to our Twitter page @CalHiSports for info on games we have attended. Go to our Facebook page for more updates.

1. DE LA SALLE (CONCORD) 6-0
Defeated Foothill (Pleasanton) 34-17. Foothill trailed by just 27-17 and 20-10 in second half.

2. SANTA MARGARITA (RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA) 6-0
Defeated Servite (Anaheim) 21-0. First win by Eagles over Friars in seven years and in first game without standout QB Johnny Stanton.

3. VISTA MURRIETA (MURRIETA) 6-0
Defeated Temecula Valley (Temecula) 58-14. Broncos scored all of their points in the first half.

4. NARBONNE (HARBOR CITY) 6-0
Defeated Carson 26-20. Although this score is puzzling since Carson is same team that lost 72-0 to Santa Margarita, Gaucho fans may not have to worry any more about a team from the CIF Central Section spoiling their chances for a CIF bowl berth (see below).

5. BAKERSFIELD 5-1
Lost to Liberty (Bakersfield) 28-17. Although Liberty showed it was a good team earlier this season by losing by just one point to No. 20 Central of Fresno, the Patriots came into this one after a loss to Ridgeview of Bakersfield. This makes the upset that much more shocking. This loss is huge because it probably puts the eventual CIF San Diego Section Division I champ as more of a possibility to land a CIF bowl bid. Drillers will have to drop several spots in the section rankings next week. Hart of Newhall, which has a win over Ridgeview, is one team that will go way up in next week’s rankings as a result of this outcome.

6. MISSION VIEJO 6-0
Did not play. Team starts South Coast League next week.

7. TESORO (RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA) 6-0
Defeated Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo) 35-28.

8. ELK GROVE 6-0
Defeated Laguna Creek (Elk Grove) 52-7.

9. ST. BONAVENTURE (VENTURA) 6-1
Defeated Simi Valley 42-0. First play from scrimmage was 84-yard touchdown run by Zach Green. Next play was 86-yard TD pass. Only loss to No. 2 Santa Margarita.

10. CENTENNIAL (CORONA) 5-1
Defeated Corona 61-24. Only loss to No. 9 St. Bonaventure.

11. ALEMANY (MISSION HILLS) 6-1
Defeated Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks) 49-42. Only loss to No. 10 Centennial.

12. ST. JOHN BOSCO (BELLFLOWER) 6-0*
Defeated Orange Lutheran 21-6.

13. UPLAND 6-0
Defeated Rancho Cucamonga 19-7.

14. MATER DEI (SANTA ANA) 5-1
Defeated JSerra (San Juan Capistrano) 35-10. Only loss to No. 4 Narbonne.

15. SERRA (GARDENA) 4-2
Lost to Chaminade (West Hills) 28-20. Chaminade also knocked out Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks from the week before. We may have to give the Eagles stronger consideration and not ding them so much for an early-season loss to Oaks Christian.

16. CHAPARRAL (TEMECULA) 5-1
Defeated Murrieta Mesa (Murrieta) 46-20. Only loss to No. 7 Tesoro.

17. OCEANSIDE 5-1
Defeated Carlsbad 54-3. Only loss to No. 16 Chaparral.

18. FRANKLIN (ELK GROVE) 6-0
Defeated Grant (Sacramento) 34-26.

19. CRESPI (ENCINO) 7-0
Defeated Loyola (Los Angeles) 20-7.

20. CENTRAL (FRESNO) 6-0
Defeated Buchanan (Clovis) 50-22. Will be No. 1 in CIF Central Section next week due to Bakersfield’s loss to Liberty (a team the Grizzlies have defeated).

21. LOMPOC 6-0
Defeated Templeton 42-3.

22. EL TORO (LAKE FOREST) 7-0
Defeated San Clemente 49-37.

23. BELLARMINE (SAN JOSE) 4-1
Defeated Archbishop Mitty (San Jose) 14-10. Bells scored with 2:14 left on 46-yard TD pass from K.J. Carta-Samuels to Jared Vollner.

24. OAK RIDGE (EL DORADO HILLS) 5-1
Lost to No. 25 Folsom 49-21.

25. FOLSOM 6-0
Defeated No. 24 Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills) 49-21.
